Danielle Manning is a fictional character on the ABC daytime soap opera One Life to Live. She was portrayed by Kelley Missal from October 23, 2009 to January 13, 2012.

Brief Character History

Danielle Manning grew up in Tahiti, believing herself to be the daughter of Téa Delgado and Ross Rayburn, but in fact her real father was Todd Manning. When Téa asked Ross for a divorce, which prompted Ross to threaten to take Danielle away, she was shipped off by her mother to the Warwick Academy in London. Ross remained oblivious to Danielle's location. In October 2009, Matthew Buchanan was sent to the same boarding school by his parents, in an effort to prevent Matthew from undergoing a life threatening surgery to regain the use of his legs.

Matthew met Danielle and took an immediate liking to her, with the two of them bonding over their mutual resentment toward their parents for sending them to boarding school. As a result, the two hatched a plan to escape from the Warwick Academy so that Matthew could return to the U.S. and undergo the surgery.

Téa was able to track down Danielle in Seattle, Washington, and quickly admonished her for running away. Ross soon appeared in Téa's hotel room, and after Téa told him that Todd was actually Danielle's father, Ross responded by going crazy and strangling Téa. Todd soon arrived and saved her from Ross. When Danielle arrived on the scene, she failed to believe Téa's story about Ross attacking her, and called the police. After realizing that Danielle was in fact his daughter, Todd told her that Ross was not her father, but Danielle was too angry at her mother to listen.
