Jason Cook (born September 13, 1980) is an American actor, screenwriter, film director, and film producer best known for his roles as Dr. Matt Hunter on the ABC daytime soap opera General Hospital, and as Shawn-Douglas Brady on the NBC daytime soap opera Days of our Lives.

Cook's first role on a daytime soap opera came as Shawn-Douglas Brady on NBC's daytime soap opera Days of Our Lives in October 1999, and proved very popular amongst fans, largely due to Shawn's pairing with Belle Black. Cook left the role on September 22, 2006, and was replaced with Brandon Beemer.

On June 27, 2008, Cook debuted on the ABC daytime soap opera General Hospital, in the role of Dr. Matt Hunter, reuniting with former Days co-star Kirsten Storms. The character of Matt was revealed to be the youngest son of Dr. Noah Drake (the by-product of an extramarital affair) and the half-brother of Dr. Patrick Drake.
