Michael Easton (born February 15, 1967) in an American television actor, poet, author and photographer. He is most known for his portrayals of John McBain on daytime soap operas One Life to Live and General Hospital, as well as Caleb Morley on Port Charles.
Easton's first role on a daytime soap opera came as Tanner Scofield on NBC's Days of our Lives from 1989 to 1992. On May 11, 2001, Easton debuted in the role of Caleb Morley on the now defunct ABC soap opera, Port Charles, where he remained until December 3, 2001. On October 25, 2002, Easton reprised his role as Caleb, remaining with the series until it aired its final episode on October 3, 2003.
On October 1, 2003, Easton debuted on another now defunct ABC soap opera One Life to Live in his longest-running role as Police Lieutenant John McBain, and remained with the series until its final episode on January 13, 2012. In January 2012, just prior to One Life to Live airing its series finale, it was announced that Easton, along with co-stars Kristen Alderson, Kassie DePaiva, and Roger Howarth, would reprise his role as John on ABC's sole remaining soap opera General Hospital. Easton debuted on General Hospital on March 13, 2012.
