Backstory[]

Nikki Reed is born June 1, 1962 (she was 17 in 1979)^[1] in Genoa City to Nick Reed and his wife; Nikki's mother dies in a car accident when she is just a child. She has an older sister, Dr. Casey Reed. Nikki's birth date has been revised over the years; first to 1960, due to a video tape claiming she celebrated her 5th birthday in 1965.^[1] Most recently, due to the aging of her children, Nikki's birth date has been revised to 1951.
